Terms of Service

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Gutd Ltd ("Gutd", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16923121, with its registered office at 1 Brownlow Road, London, England, N11 2DN.

You can reach us at Life@gutd.co.uk

2. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of our website and to any order you place with us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them before you order — if there's anything you're not happy with, email us before buying.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the site at the time you placed it.

3. Who can buy from us

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By ordering, you confirm you are 18 or over and legally able to enter into a contract.

We currently sell and deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only.

4. Our products

Our products are food supplements. They are not medicines, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Nothing on our website, packaging, emails or social media is medical advice. Always talk to your GP, pharmacist or a qualified healthcare professional before starting a supplement — particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, or have an existing health condition.

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Allergens and ingredients. Full ingredient and allergen information is shown on the product page and on the pack. If you have an allergy, intolerance or other dietary requirement, please check this carefully before ordering and before every reorder, as formulations can change. If you're unsure, email us and we'll help.

Product images. We do our best to show our products accurately, but colours and packaging may vary slightly from the images on screen. Packaging may also change from time to time.

5. Placing an order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We'll send you an acknowledgement email when we receive it — this is not acceptance.

A contract between us is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. If we can't accept your order (for example, the product is out of stock, there's a pricing error, or we can't take payment), we'll let you know and refund any payment taken in full.

We may cancel or limit orders that appear to be for resale, or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you pay.

We take care to price correctly, but errors happen. If we spot an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we'll contact you to confirm whether you'd like to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Payment is taken at checkout via our payment providers. We don't store your full card details.

7. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within [X] working days. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are estimates, not guarantees.

Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we've received payment in full.

If nobody is available at your address, our courier will leave a card or follow their standard process. If a parcel is returned to us as undelivered, we'll contact you — additional postage may apply for redelivery.

Because our products are made in small batches to order, occasional delays can happen. We'll always let you know if your order is running behind.

8. Subscriptions

Some products are available on subscription.

  • When you subscribe, you authorise us to take recurring payments at the interval shown at checkout until you cancel.
  • We'll email you before each renewal payment where required.
  • Prices may change; we'll give you at least [30] days' notice by email before a change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time via your account or by emailing [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle — orders already dispatched can't be cancelled, though your statutory rights below still apply.
  • If a payment fails, we may retry it and pause your subscription until it succeeds.

Free gifts with subscription. Where we offer a free item with a subscription (for example, a milk frother), the item is provided on the basis that you maintain the subscription for the minimum period stated in the offer. If you cancel earlier, we may ask you to return the item or charge its stated value. Offers are subject to availability and to any additional terms set out on the offer page.

9. Your right to cancel (distance selling)

If you're a consumer, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

To cancel, email Life@gutd.co.uk with your order number. You must then return the products to us within 30 days of telling us.

Important exceptions. This right does not apply to:

  • sealed products that aren't suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, once they have been unsealed after delivery; or
  • goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

In practice this means we can only accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original sealed packaging.

Return postage is your responsibility unless the product is faulty or not as described. We'll refund the price you paid plus standard outbound delivery within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or evidence you've sent them). We may reduce the refund if the products have been handled more than necessary.

10. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If something arrives damaged, faulty, past its best-before date, or isn't what you ordered, email life@gutd.co.uk within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo where possible.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Where they aren't, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. We'll cover return postage in these cases. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

11. Storing our products

Please store products as directed on the pack — typically in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, with the pack resealed after opening. We can't be responsible for products that deteriorate because they haven't been stored as directed.

12. Accounts

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

We may suspend or close an account that's being used in breach of these terms.

13. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to misuse the site — including by introducing malicious code, attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping content at scale, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Reviews, comments and other content you submit must be your own, honest, and not unlawful, offensive or defamatory. We may remove content and, by submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with our business, including in marketing.

14. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the Gutd name and logo, text, copy, photography, video, illustrations, packaging design and formulations — is owned by us or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property law.

You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.

15. Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

16. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't legally be limited or excluded — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was made, or for any loss of profit, business, or business opportunity, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We supply our products for domestic and private use only.

17. Events outside our control

We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control — including supplier or ingredient shortages, courier disruption, extreme weather, fire, flood, industrial action, or interruption of utilities or telecoms. We'll contact you as soon as we can and, if the delay is substantial, you can cancel for a full refund of anything not yet dispatched.

18. Privacy and cookies

We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. These explain what we collect, why, and the analytics and advertising tools we use.

19. Complaints

If something's gone wrong, email Life@gutd.co.uk and we'll aim to respond within 30 working days. We'd always rather sort it directly.

If we can't resolve it between us, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution provider. Details available on request.

20. Other important terms

  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation; this won't affect your rights.
  • If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
  • If we don't enforce a right straight away, that doesn't mean we've given it up.
  • This contract is between you and us; no one else has any rights under it.

21. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
